Abstract

The family is the first forum for providing education to children. For this reason, parents must be able to be role models in behavior that is realized in everyday life. However, the level of education is low and knowledge about gender for families is still not widely implemented directly at the lowest level. So there are quite a few incidents in the family that cause the family to have internal problems and conflicts. For this reason, it is necessary to provide knowledge about gender to families who have a low level of education, so that it ultimately affects their social standard of living. In this article, it is only limited to problems within the family and gender behavior applied within the family. Education and all information about gender is provided in the form of counseling by experts in their respective fields. This activity also provides culinary training to participants so that they can use it as a source of additional income with existing capital. Based on activities carried out to increase knowledge about gender, families have been able to apply gender concepts in the family well and strive to foster an entrepreneurial attitude in improving the family economy.
